Visit Gnomon’s free event on designing futuristic cities

Gnomon is hosting a free panel session on architectural design for entertainment at its Hollywood campus next Thursday, 3 October 2019, revealing how artists can create compelling futuristic cities.

The event, Architecture in Perspective: Archviz & Design for Entertainment, will also be broadcast worldwide on Gnomon’s Twitch channel: you can watch it via the player embedded above.

Explore the intersection of architectural visualisation and concept design
Part of the American Society of Architectural Illustrators’ Architecture in Perspective conference, the session will explore how the representation of contemporary architecture influences entertainment design.

The panellists are drawn both from leading architectural design studios like Kilograph and Luxigon – the latter represented by principal architect Eric de Broche des Combes – and from entertainment design.

The latter camp includes Joy Lea, lead environment artist at ARWall, Mike Golden, head of 3D at concept design asset store Kitbash3D, and production designer Tran Ma.

The session will be chaired by Chaos Group’s Chris Nichols, host of its popular CG Garage podcast.
