Discover how the photorealistic environments of Battlefield V’s new Mercury map were created
Released last year, but steadily evolving via EA’s Tides of War live update service, Battlefield V is the latest in EA’s popular series of military first-person shooters.

In their Gnomon presentation, artists from EA’s DICE LA studios will explore how the latest update, the new Mercury map, was created using photogrammetry and VFX workflows.

The panel comprises 3D artists Guilherme Rambelli and Pat Goodwin, world artists Adam Hernandez and Matt McCorkell, and VFX artist Chris Yoon.

The session should provide valuable insights into current environment workflows for anyone hoping to break into – or secure their next job – in the videogame industry.
