Soft8Soft releases Verge3D 2.11 for 3ds Max and Blender

Soft8Soft has released Verge3D 2.11, the latest version of its framework for converting 3ds Max or Blender scenes into WebGL-based 3D web applications.

The update integrates popular open-source phyics library Bullet, making it possible to add dynamics to scenes via Verge3D’s visual programming system.

Create simple interactive physics scenes using a visual programming workflow
The main new feature in Verge3D 2.11 is the implementation of Bullet, the open-source physics engine integrated into many DCC applications, including both 3ds Max and Blender.

Simple physics simulations can be created and controlled without coding via Puzzles, the visual programming system used by Verge3D.

Other changes include new functionality within Puzzles itself, the option to upload and store files via Verge3D’s WordPress plugin, and support for Blender’s Voronoi Texture node.

You can find a full list via the link below.

Pricing and availability
Verge3D 2.11 is available for 3ds Max 2015+, Blender 2.79 or the beta version of Blender 2.80.

The software can be trialled for free; for production, a personal licence costs $290, a team licence costs $990, and an enterprise licence – which gets you source code access – costs $2,990.
