Practical tips and tricks for creating sci-fi concept models in a range of visual styles
The live event, which runs for three hours, features demonstrations from three separate artists, and covers the creation of organic, hard-surface and stylised models.

Concept artist Ara Kermanikian will kick things off with a session on how to set up an efficient ‘polysculpting’ workflow for creating hard-surface models like props and vehicles in ZBrush.

He will be followed by a session on designing organic characters and taking them from 2D to 3D using Maya, ZBrush, and Keyshot, presented by Steve Talkowski, creative director of Sketchbot Studios.

The evening will be rounded off by freelance 3D artist Eric Keller‘s session on biomechanical creature design, exploring how the new tools in ZBrush 4R8 can be used to create Giger-esque creature concepts.
