Get up to speed with Unreal Engine’s new VR tools – and with one of the fastest-growing parts of the games industry – with Epic Games’ free masterclass on VR game development at Gnomon’s LA campus next week.

Hosted by Epic’s evangelists Andy Hess and Luis Cataldi, An Afternoon with Epic Games: Making VR Games & Experiences in Unreal Engine covers everything you need to know, with four hours of talks and workshops.

Topics include Unreal’s UI, terminology, workflows and content management; an introduction to materials and lighting, Blueprints, VR locomotion and interaction mechanics; and the Unreal Game Framework.

Free to attend, but register online in advance
An Afternoon with Epic Games: Making VR Games & Experiences takes place at Gnomon’s Hollywood campus from 4-8pm on Wednesday 15 June 2016. The event is free, but you’ll need to register online in advance.

Unlike many Gnomon events, the masterclass isn’t being Livestreamed, so you’ll need to be in LA in person.
