Act-3D unveils Lumion 4.5
Act-3D has announced Lumion 4.5, a free update to the real-time architectural rendering tool.
New features include the option to copy and paste effects from project to another; sliders for the size of the sun and moon; and – in a reversal of the usual development trend with 3D software – sharper shadows.
There are also new options to switch on the lights in a scene at or around sundown.
Users of the Pro edition get the option to merge elements between scenes, and 24 new animated 3D characters.
Pricing and availability
Lumion 4.5 is available for Windows only. The standard edition costs €1,499 (around $2,500) and the Pro edition costs €2,999 ($5,050).
