VFX Screens for iOS speeds up screen replacement
French developer Codega Studio has released VFX Screens, a neat little free iOS app intended to make it easier to do screen replacements of tablets and smartphones.
The app enables iPads to display a customisable greenscreen pattern, which can then be replaced by a virtual screen display during compositing. It’s also AirPlay-compatible, for PC or TV screen replacement.
Users have a choice of true RGB colours to key, two types of tracking markers, and – the real benefit of the app – markers for touch and swipe events. You’ll need to be running iOS 7.0 or above to use it.
