Eye candy: Pixologic’s ZBrush movie reel
Pixologic has posted its film reel, titled ZBrush@The Movies. (Actually, it came out before Christmas, but we haven’t seen it shared in too many places, and the last day of 2013 seems a suitable time to post a link.)
Rather than a current VFX reel, it’s more of a greatest hits compilation: the movies included go well back into the previous decade, alongside current hits like Thor: The Dark World and Gravity.
But it’s excellent eye candy – and proof, if any were needed, of how central ZBrush is to modern film effects work: the line-up includes pretty much every major Hollywood blockbuster of the past decade – the credit roll alone takes nearly two minutes.
