Eloi Andaluz releases Demolition Master 1.6

And_vfx – aka developer Eloi Andaluz – has released Demolition Master 1.6, the latest update to its 3ds Max destruction plugin, adding support for proxies and Bullet physics.

thinkingParticles made easier
The software is based around cebas’s thinkingParticles – which last year added its own Bullet solver – exposing all of tP’s parameters on the Modifier panel “so you don’t need to know Thinking Particles’ workflow”.

Demolition Master comes with preset wood, glass, concrete and steel materials, and supports attractors, and wind and gravity forces. Its simulations can also interact with FumeFX, Sitni Sati’s gaseous fluid simulator.

You can see some of those features in action, along with the new Bullet rigid-body dynamics, in the video above. As with other destruction systems, the demo is a lot of fun to watch, even if you don’t use Demolition Master.

Demolition Master 1.6 is available now for 3ds Max 2010 to 2013 and thinkingParticles 5, price €35 (around $50). The Lite version of the plugin, which lacks Bullet support and other advanced features, is free.
