Once you pay any real attention to the car itself it pops out quite a bit as fake. This video reminded me a bit of a silly UFO tracking vid I did a couple of years ago, though obviously far more well done – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sH1b5fBWsBk – I used a darken blend mode to make it appear that the UFO was behind the treeline. Combined with tracking in AE, it’s just about one of the easiest type of fx shots to pull off. Still, not all that bad.
