MindBomb releases Gfx Hotkeys 3.0

MindBomb – aka developer Bill Kastanakis – has updated Gfx Hotkeys, his iOS app listing keyboard shortcuts for major 2D, 3D, compositing, grading, tracking and editing applications.

Gfx Hotkeys 3.0 now lists hotkeys for 51 applications, up from the original 30, and the latest versions of key Autodesk and Adobe tools have been added, along with Cinema 4D 14.

New UI, new sort options, new price
The app lists shortcuts for the Windows, OS X and Linux versions of each package, where available; and lists several of the most recent versions of key apps, including 3ds Max, Maya, Cinema 4D and ZBrush, separately.

Other changes include a nice new UI, optimised for Apple’s Retina displays, and new search and sort options. You can even “share the hotkeys you discover to Facebook or Twitter”, should you wish to do such a thing.

The price is up slightly, to $4.99 (£2.99) and LightWave and Blender still aren’t listed, but it’s still a useful little tool for freelancers, or anyone who has to hotdesk within a studio.

Updated 4 February: MindBomb has just released a free Lite edition of the app, which lists hotkeys for the latest versions of Cinema 4D, After Effects and Photoshop, along with Illustrator CS5 and 3ds Max 2011.
