If I didn’t enjoy building my own systems, the Z820 would be a definite choice. Everyone happily rants about the death of the desktop, but that is reserved for eternally pessimistic consumers who are clueless about where and how their content gets created.

For the benchmarks, the performance results would have been much closer if the older i7-980 had not been included in favor of a newer i7-3960X or i7-3930K.
