Agreed,

IMHO, the trailer seems loosely edited together, there's no sense of build up, cinematography plus camera work is average, and the "wow factor" in the climax is non existent.

Too many flashbacks in too short of a time cut together like scattered puzzle pieces never really fitting together, things get confusing easily. too many characters on screen at such a grand pace makes it hard to keep track of who was who and what is supposed to be going on, had to watch it twice to better focus on what is being shown.

I think any trailer whether for a film or a long standing franchise, should have the ability to grab any audience from anywhere to some degree, I believe that's the job of a trailer, I have never played Halo and this trailer doesn't touch me on any level to even consider "googling" it.

I liked however the idea of the kid and the sand beaches looking up at the ships, unfortunately the trailer never got hold of that concept further and expanded on it, it seemed like just another random piece which would've had much potential.

Then again this is my personal opinion, with that said, David Fincher is a respectful director and "blur studios" has some great work out there, I just don't see this one being one of them.

Best regards,
