Hi CG Channel.

We sincerely appreciate you posting the story. I did however want clarify a couple of specific points.

Although Digital Domain Media Group expressed interest in PFDepth at NAB 2012, as did countless other creative firms, The Pixel Farm have never been involved in discussions with them about patents, or any other matters of business.

The underlying workflow of PFDepth was exhibited at NAB 2012 as a technology demonstration, but there was still a lot of work to be done. It has now been officially released, and the response thus far has been overwhelming.

Kind regards,

Daryl Shail
