I own the 21UX (v2.0) and bought the 22HD to replace it, but I was utterly disappointed when I fired it up. It’s like trying to see display trough a film of sooth or diamond dust. There’s sparkles all over, and my eyes strain even after a few minutes of use. So I’ve decided to keep my 21UX and return the 22HD to Wacom.

I really do hope Wacom releases a DTK-2200B/C version without the anti glare, or at least with a more modest coating, as on the 21UX. Without the horrendous AG coating, the 22HD would be a keeper, because I like the new easier to press expresskeys, and the three dedicated info and settings keys at the top right. The nice satin finish on the frame is also nice, though not a very crucial factor.

I also hope that ViewSonic will improve their upcoming Cintiq equivalent to be a serious alternative. Wacom seem to need some serious competition to step up their game.
