Eye candy: Reset

Indie game developer Theory Interactive has released a pretty stunning teaser for its upcoming first-person co-op puzzle game, Reset. Don’t expect the usual bangs and flashes: this is paced more like an indie short.

According to the blurb, the 150-second video was created in real-time using its proprietary Praxis technology.

“Everything you see in the trailer is straight from the in-game engine, no up-ressed textures, geometry or effects. What you see is what you will get. Except hopefully a little bit better since we’re not even in alpha yet.”

Teasers with gorgeous in-game graphics aren’t anything new, of course – for comparison, here’s the new Crysis 3 teaser, released earlier this week.

But what’s particularly impressive is that Reset is the work of only two people: artist and designer Alpo Oksaharju and programmer Mikko Kallinen. Good work, guys. Hope the gameplay matches the graphics.
