Oramyst launches royalty-free character design site
Concept design studio Oramyst has launched a new website selling royalty-free character designs, complete with orthographic reference sheets for 3D modelling.
The characters are divided up into obvious categories (science-fiction, fantasy, historical, creatures, robots and so on), and are available for around €10-25 ($13-33).
There are only a handful of designs on the site yet, so it’s too early to say how it will develop as a resource, but it’s a neat idea: how often have you seen sites selling blueprints of vehicles and wish there was an equivalent for characters?
