Blender to get brand new motion-capture toolset

Blender is to get a new motion-capture toolset as part of work completed during the Google Summer of Code.

The new tools will make it possible to import, clean, stitch and blend mocap data in the popular open-source 3D package, or to retarget it from one character to another.

The code, developed by Benjy Cook, has now been integrated into the Blender trunk, so it should appear in future public releases.

Other new features developed as part of the GSoC work range from improved retopology and 3D audio tools, and the foundation of a new 3D tracking system.
