Autodesk calls for entries for 2011 Design Viz reel

Autodesk has called for entries for its 2011 Design Visualization Showreel, showcasing the best work created with the company’s visualization software – which it defines as including not only 3ds Max but Maya and Mudbox.

The reel will be featured at all 650 sessions at this year’s Autodesk University conference, held in Las Vegas from 29 November to 1 December, and on the Autodesk website, AREA community site and YouTube channel.

Autodesk is also in search of high-resolution images and HD video for inclusion in its marketing materials throughout next year: its current contest to design the new 3ds Max Design box art carries a prize of a $15,000 workstation and $5,000 in cash.

The deadline for showreel submissions is Monday 26 September 2011.
