Eye candy: new full-length Adventures of Tintin trailer

Weta has posted a full-length trailer for its animated version of The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn on its website. (Via the direct link below: the version above is a lower-quality YouTube video.)

Clocking in at a full two and a half minutes, it shows a lot more of the characters and environments than the very brief teaser released last month – and in this case, more is actually better.

On the whole, we’d say the blend of realism and cartoonishness is working pretty well: chunky and appealing, rather than wooden or creepy. Snowy is a lot more like a real dog than in the original Hergé cartoons, but we guess that was inevitable.
