e-on releases performance-boosting LumenRT upgrade
e-on software has released a performance-boosting update to LumenRT, its new real-time visualisation tool for SketchUp and SketchUp Pro.
The developer claims that the new auto-scale lighting feature in LumenRT 1.2 can improve performance on large virtual sets by up to 300%, while further optimisations reduce pre-processing time.

e-on software, the leader in 3D sky, light and nature technologies, today announced the availability of a new update for LumenRT Review for SketchUp, the company’s revolutionary new real-time 3D product for the visualization of architectural projects. The new release adds the ability to process larger models such as large structures and cities with greater speed.
The auto-scale lighting feature can improve performance by 30% to 300% depending on the size of the model with a resulting tradeoff of lower lighting quality. The new build also adds several quality and reliability enhancements to improve overall performance and stability. As an example, new optimizations in Release 1.2 can lead to a 14x gain on pre-processing time!
