Subdivision Reversion for Max updated to version 2.0

The original Subdivision Reversion demo. The latest update supports a range of new subdivision surface types.

Marius Silaghi has rewritten his Subdivision Reversion script for 3ds Max, Max Underground is reporting.

The script “recreates the subdivision levels of an already subdivided mesh with 100% precision, maintaining the UVs”, enabling users to edit assets on which the Modifier stack has previously been collapsed.

According to Max Underground post, the script, which was first released in April, now supports Catmull Clark surfaces and an extensive range of other subdivision types.

Subdivision Reversion 2.0 costs €10 or €5 to existing users.
