Gnomon Gallery to host Art of Legacy Effects show

Hollywood’s Gnomon Gallery is to host a show on The Art of Legacy Effects at the end of the month.

The show features images, maquettes and previously unseen props from the leading practical effects company, including work from such artists as Scott Patton, Ian Joyner and Simon Webber.

Movies the studio has worked on range from Avatar and Iron Man to last month’s Thor and the upcoming John Carter of Mars.

The opening reception is from 19.00 to 23.00 on 28 May at the gallery on 1015 N. Cahuenga Boulevard.
The show then runs through June.
