As usual I liked the movie for its art and animation and production, but I wasn't surprised by the villain and therefore disappointed -- just another single bad guy with a chip on his shoulder. It was kind of nice that him and Po both had a parental thing going on (which is ironic in a kid's movie) but this villain is not so different to a zillion others in movies. He acts evil, has a massive gang that is ultimately useless, and whimpers out at the end. He's not a guy you'd really expect to win, really care about whether he lives or dies, and Po is just a little impervious to the villain's threat - which is probably what annoyed me most watching this one. In the first movie you wince when he takes a fall, in this one, he's got too big a hero shield. Although it's a comedy, the hero's victory should still be hard won, or at least suspenseful. Po just bumbles from A to B and then goes home. My take would have been for the wolves to depose the peacock and the pack leader become a kind of double up villain much harder to get rid of and more of a challenge to Po. The sequence chasing the head wolf through the town is great, and the earlier first wolf fight with the guitar bunny is great too.
