The Bakery announces new high-end relighting tool
The Bakery has announced details of its new relighting software, Bakery Relight.
The company claims that the product can increase turnaround times on commercial 3D projects – ranging from visualisation to VFX – by up to 300%.
Bakery Relight will be officially unveiled at NAB next month, so the current news release only gives a basic outline, although there is more information on the product website.
However, the company’s pedigree (CTO Arnauld Lamorlette won a Technical Achievement Academy Award earlier this year for his pioneering work on GI), suggests that Bakery Relight will be worth waiting for – as do testimonials from former staff at ILM, DreamWorks and Weta Digital
