Oddball Animation has posted a great detailed ‘making of’ for its VFX work on SoapBox Films’ promo for Ben Lovett’s Eye of the Storm.
The “stylised steampunk” effect was created with footage shot on RED cameras and composited in After Effects, with 3D elements created in modo and LightWave. The video isn’t too shabby, either.
