Animate a sheep and get seen in cinemas worldwide

Spanish animation studio Dygra Films is offering young animators a unique opportunity to create showreel material: animate one of the sheep from the company’s upcoming animated feature Holy Night, and you could see your work used in the credits to the movie.

The bad news is that if you win, you automatically sign away all rights to the work to Dygra, so you’re pretty much working for free – but it is a great way to get a movie credit on your reel.

Holy Night will be Dygra’s fourth feature-length animation to date. The studio previously produced Spain’s first full-CG feature, El Bosque Animado (The Living Forest).

Full director’s notes and legal T&Cs are available on the contest website, along with the base assets for the animation. The contest closes on 31 December 2010 January 2011.
