.i have z800 with 16 RAm and NVIDIA Quadro 5000 Graphic Card
i7 with 4 gb ram system have more perfomence than this

Your article mentions that the Z600 workstation supports 2 FX3800 cards. The 650W power supply only has a single PCI-E 6 pin power connector. How is the second card powered? Is there an alternative power supply?

how much does this super HP computer cost?? i always wondering if is cheaper or better to just buy the components and build the computer myself or paid somebody to……. it seems if you buy the brand, the money you pay goes into the brand, after all, none of the components are HP or SONY anyway…. some thoughts on this anyone??

Excellent review, wonderfully detailed. It’s nice seeing actual real-world bench results with the system that mean something to artists rather than the standard gamut of hollow test numbers.

I’m surprised that the system only offered integrated audio. With such a prominent focus on DCC users, in which audio would most likely play a large roll, I’d almost expect a solid audio setup would be a given. It is good that it’s an option for the system, but the Z800 is the best of the best of their offerings, might as well go all the way.

Then again, those performance numbers are quite compelling, so it is hard to find fault with such a minor thing.

Regarding the noise, jsut buy water cooling system offered by HP, awesome thing!
