Digital Domain on Transformers 2 – Dan Taylor

Last summer we caught up with Digital Domain’s Animation Supervisor, Dan Taylor, to give us a behind the scenes look at Transformers 2.

Disappointed that Michael Bay’s most recent robot epic isn’t in the best picture Oscars list?  Unbeknown to some, Digital Domain did some of the key scenes in Transformers 2.  Remember Soundwave the satellite Decepticon, Reedman (think razor blade transformer), the evil kitchen bots or the RC truck with an accent?  We went on a mission to find out how DD went about animating Transformers in Revenge of the Fallen.  Dan Taylor, Animation Supervisor for Digital Domain on Transformers 2, gave us an exclusive interview during his visit to the Gnomon Workshop Live.
