Codehunters was and still is a style and an idea ahead of it’s time. It’s visual uniqueness and story stands apart from pretty much everything else out there and has still not been tapped for any kind of regular series which is completely viable with the increased workflow in which 3D can be done these days as compared to when Codehunters first hit MTV and the internet 3 years ago. Why some production company has not backed a giant truck of money into Ben Hibbons’ front door is beyond me. I should be buying Codehunters, season 3 on Amazon by now!

I disagree with the style being unique and ahead of its time. As this was a very GOOD animation and I really enjoyed it, I still feel like this style is a cop out to shorten development time. Borderlands (which ripped the intro and art style of this animation completely) started with very intense realism and to shorten their scope they changed the style to the gritty detail with outlines and limited shading. I personally like a little more blend and balance they way Appleseed did it. Also.. a little more motion capture.. the key framed animations look very stiff.
Just my few cents.. I just wanted to leave a couple of crits on it. I still really liked it.
