Blast from Adobe’s past!

Software blast from the past, Adobe released a video documentary on the history of Photoshop since 1990. Includes interviews with founders  John Knoll, Thomas Knoll, Russell Brown, and Steve Guttman.  To think that the Abyss was the first film to use photoshop. Can you imagine what graphic software would be like without the advent of Photoshop?

    Ha, that’s awesome! I remember buying a scanner ages ago and it came with Photoshop 2. I believe that was around 95 or so?

    Such a modest bunch of Guys!
    I bought Photoshop 1 in 1990 and a Mac. It really did change my life! It taught me so much about how colours interact and the nature of light. Apparently this video was shot in San Francisco. In May 2010, we are bringing a version of Peter Pan to SF from London, which features a circular surrounding movie designed entirely in Photoshop. This for me will be a homage to them.
